Product & user experience research

Better product decisions start with understanding your users. Silver Scribe runs rigorous qualitative and quantitative research to uncover what motivates people, and where they struggle, so your team can move forward with clarity and confidence.

Sample outcomes:

  • A prioritized roadmap backed by user data

  • Behavioral archetypes that align your team on who to design for

  • A clear assessment of what’s blocking adoption, and what to fix first

  • Recommendations your team can act on and leadership can get behind

Product & user experience research case studies

Developer experience research

A cartoon illustration of a bear with purple fur holding a cup of coffee or tea, smiling against a black background.

A software company needed to understand developers before building for them. Through interviews and a large-scale survey, we defined what "good developer experience" meant for their specific product and uncovered how developers influence tool selection.

The result: a feature set, design direction, and go-to-market strategy grounded in real user behavior.

Roadmap validation & product vision

An illustration of a person pulling their hair in frustration or anger, with a distressed facial expression, enclosed in a magenta circle.

A product team needed to evaluate a three-year roadmap and establish a foundation for a new product suite. We delivered a prioritized roadmap, a refined product vision, and behavior-based archetypes.

The final deliverable gave product, design, and engineering shared clarity on what to build, what to fix, and what to stop investing in.

Company culture & strategic planning research

Your team is talented, but if inefficient processes and ways of working have become normalized, even great research won’t move the needle.

Silver Scribe uses the Human Factors Framework to uncover what is slowing your team down and give leadership a path to fix it.

Sample outcomes:

  • A diagnosis of the cultural barriers causing delays in product development

  • Anonymous, sugar-free insights on employee satisfaction and morale, tied directly to your product roadmap

  • Recommendations for how to correct organizational failures and which department should own each initiative

Company culture & strategic planning research case study

A bubble chart showing various business departments with circles of different sizes and colors representing different data points: Marketing, Security, Field Technologist, Design, Engineering, Sales, and Product Management. Each department name is labeled with corresponding colored circles.

A product organization had the research and the vision, but they couldn't ship. Development had stalled. Through interviews across all levels of seniority, we identified exactly where processes supported progress and where they blocked it.

Leadership walked away with explicit, actionable recommendations to unblock their teams and rebuild a culture of innovation.
