How a Silver Scribe study works
Every engagement follows the same proven process, with built-in check-ins at each major step to keep your team aligned from kickoff to final delivery. Projects involving multiple product lines or company divisions will require additional time for data collection and analysis.

We start by talking to your team. Stakeholder interviews directly influence the study design. They clarify your strategic goals, so we can make sure we’re asking the right questions.

Before we go into the field, we review any existing research to close knowledge gaps and make sure we're building on what your team already knows, not repeating it.

With stakeholder input and a review of prior research in hand, we refine the study scope and develop the questionnaire. This is a key alignment checkpoint before data collection begins.

This is where the real work happens. Depending on your goals, we use a mix of methods (interviews, surveys, tree tests, observation, etc.) to build a nuanced picture of the problem space. Recruiting the right participants is critical, and we partner with specialists when the target profile demands it.

We dig into the data and document everything in a final written report. Optional add-ons like illustrated stories, infographics, or workshop-ready artifacts are available for teams that want to go deeper.

Your Silver Scribe partners present research findings and strategic recommendations in a final readout, giving your team a shared understanding of what the data means and what to do next. For teams that want to go further, we also facilitate virtual and in-person design thinking workshops to help translate insights into concrete product ideas and next steps.
